The Series 4 range of Mentor controllers’ additional safety features are central to the SIL3 safety underlying Kinesys stage automation.

It can safely control and communicate with up to 100 devices at any one time, over Ethernet with SIL3 (Safety Integrity Level) at its centre.

Mentor Series 4 uses emergency stops and enable switches (dead man’s handles) universal across the Mentor range.
